[Review] Sariayu Energizing Aromatic Compact Powder

This is a new product that I bought recently after I realized that my previous compact powder's too pinkish for me. This product is Sariayu Energizing Aromatic Compact Powder. Sariayu is one of leading beauty companies in Indonesia. This brands and also Mustika Ratu brand are based on Javanese Princesses secret beauty. The different is Mustika Ratu is based on Mataram Palace (Javanese palace) in Solo while Sariayu is based on Mataram Palace in Jogjakarta.

Sariayu Energizing Aromatic Compact Powder

This product claims that it's smooth and soft compact powder.  It has 4 extra benefits : Sandalwood essential oil for an energizing effect, sunscreen, moisturizer, and maintain fresh beauty skin. It says that it has sunscreen, but it doesn't say how many SPF it has. :( So I usually also put on sunblock product before applying this product.

This product come in quite small package. It color is cream and brown. It also has small mirror in it. This makes touch up activity become easier. The applicator is quite good. The applicator is better than the applicator in Maybelline product that I have reviewed here.

Ingredients : 

Talc, Kaolin, Titanium Dioxide, Mica, Ethyihaxyl Stearate, Zinc Myristate, Dimethicone, Caprylic/Capric Triglyceride, Ethyihexyl Methoxycinnamate, Benzophenone-3, Polymethyl Methacrylate, Methicone, Perfluoroalkylethyl Phosphate, Propylparaben, Fragrance, Tocopheryl Acetate, Santalum Album (Sandalwood) Oil. 

May contain : CI 77492, CI 77491, CI 77499.

Shade Kuning Pengantin

Result : 

I chose the Kuning Pengantin shade (yellow bride). I don't know the English term for Kuning Pengantin, but it really suits my skin tone best that has dark skin with yellow tone. I love the shade actually but this product oxidize on my skin after 2-3 hours. Now, I use this powder only if I go out less than 2 hours, like I want to go to nearby shops. Actually I also love this product because it consistency is light on my skin.

New Note : 
 After using this product for months, it doesn't oxidize anymore on my face. I don't know why. It may because this compact powder already suits my face or maybe at that time when it oxidize, the problem is in my skin condition or the weather. I don't know.

So, you can give this product a try. It may not has oxidize effect on you as on me right now. 

What I like : 

- Its shade suit my skin

- Cheap

What I don't like :

- Doesn't clear say how many SPF or PA this product has

- Oxidize on my face after 2-3 hours (After using it more than months, it doesn't oxidize anymore)

[Review] Mustika Ratu Peeling Mundisari

Morning girls... 

Today I will talk about Mustika Ratu product. This is Mustika Ratu Mundisari Peeling. Yeah, I'm a big fan of local products. This is my first peeling product to exfoliate my skin, or to be specific, my face. I bought this product several months ago. This product is really well-known in Indonesia.

This product claims that it helps cleanse and exfoliate dead skin cells. It has Murraya exotica Leaves extract that helps soften the skin, while its Fenugreek extracts and Curcuma heyneana powder help exfoliate dead skin cells and dirt off the skin.

Mustika Ratu Peeling Mundisari

First, I will give comment about its package. It come with tube package made from plastic. This package actually handy and travel friendly. You don't need much space in your pouch to put it in. But I haven't bring this product on my travelling. I just use this product weekly in my home.

 Its consistency

The product come in cream with white color. This cream is really easy to dry. Just put this cream on your hand, wait a few minutes and the cream become dry. It because you should exfoliate your skin while this cream half dry.

Aqua, Propylene Glycol, Stearic Acid, Glyceryl Stearate, PEG-100 Stearate, Dimethicone, Dicalcium Phosphate Dihydrate, Sodium Lactate, Ethoxydiglycol, PEG-26 Jojoba Acid, PEG-26 Jojoba Alcohol, Butylene Glycol, PEG-40 Hydrogenated Castor Oil, Trideceth-9 Simmondsia Sinensis (Jojoba) Seed Oil, Curcuma heyneana Root Extract Triethanolamin, Trigonella Foenum Graecum (Fenogreek) Extract, Murraya exotica Leaf Extract, Acrylates/C 10-30 Alkyl Acrylate Crosspolymer, Methylparaben, Allantoin, Propylparaben, Parfume, Sodium Sulfate, CI 19140, CI 42090

How to use :
Apply onto face and neck. Avoid the eye area. Leave it on until half dries then gently rub off the powder. Rinse with water. Use regularly twice a week for best result.
Close the cap tightly to prevent dryness.

Result :
Yes. Love it so much. I use this peeling twice a week and sometimes once a week. Yep, it cleanse dead skin cells on my face. But I'm not really appreciate with the direction to use it. Sometimes my face turned red because I rub it. But this is exfoliate product, isn't? I'm not really satisfied if I rub it gently. I think it's better if Mustika Ratu recreate the bead so they will come smaller and don't hurt my face while I rub it hardly. :)

What I like :
- Work as its claims
- Cheap

What I don't like :
- The cream is really easy to dry and make me hurt my face while rubbing it

[Review] Marina UV White Extra SPF 30 Body Essence

Dear my fellow blogger, for this review, I will post about my favourite hand and body lotion. Yeeayaaiii.....

Recently, I'm looking for hand and body product to solve my dry skin problem. The ultimate criterion is of course, UV Filter. I live in tropical climate's country, remember. The other criteria are make my skin smooth, lightening/whitening, and even better if my dull skin's never come back. Hahahhahaha.... *evil laugh

 Marina Body Essence

While I was window shopping in one nearby mall, I saw this Marina Body Essence in one shelf. The colour was so tempting. I love the orange colour on it. Looks fresh and fruity. Then, I took this product. Beforehand, I have used another Marina Hand and Body Lotion product, Marina Total Care Youthful, and as I'm quite satisfied with that product, I wanted to give this new product a try. 

It claims that this Marina Body Essence has many active ingredients. They're formulated can absorb easily in to the skin. This body essence effect is more active than an body lotion. 

The ingredients

This product claims that help skin has its ideal whitening without darkspots as it contains 10x white yogurt boost that nourishes skin and to lighten the skin. This product also says that it prevent the dark skin to come back as it has SPF 30 to protect skin from UV B and PA++ to protect skin from UV A. Superfruit and Acai Berry in this product have antioxidant effect. 

Marina Body Essence Package

I like the package of this product. This product's not made from stiff plastic, so that the essence is easily come out, even when it almost run out. 

Texture of the essence

The most favourite thing from this product is the scent. It smells like fresh and sour fruits. Yeah, the smells of yogurt. Very yummii... Unluckily, the scent is just last 2-3 hours. Sometimes, I spread this essence again after 3 hours to get the scent. Love it so much. 

The texture of this essence is quite light, has white color and not sticky at all. I think that this essence is water based. Sometimes, I found some hand and body lotion with oily sensation. But, this essence doesn't give the oily sensation. That's why I like it so much.

Before and after

How about the result on my skin?
After using this new product from Marina for two weeks in the morning on my foot, I don't see any improvement in lightening. Maybe I have to wait some time and use it regularly to get the whitening effect. Yeah, but my skin's smoother. I know you can not see the smoother effect in the picture, but believe me. Although it doesn't lighten my skin, but it gIve effect that it doesn't darken my skin. Yep, I usually wear slipper and it gave sun burning effect on my skin. After I use this product, my skin doesn't get darker. So I think that the both UV protections in this product are  work well.
(In the picture, the different in color is because of the different lighting. I took the 'after' picture in the cloudy weather so the picture looks darker, but in fact is not.)

What I like :
- The scent
- SPF 30, PA++, and antioxidants
- Light texture
- Cheap (around IDR 20,000 or USD 2)

What I don't like :  
- The scent is just last 2-3 hours
